The Executive Command Staff of the Pomona Police Department consists of five key individuals: Chief of Police, David S. The Chief, with his command staff, is responsible for setting and administering all department policies and procedures as well as overseeing the 24-hour operation of the department all services to the community.

The City of Pomona has implemented the Crime Free Multi-Housing program designed to help tenants, owners, and managers of rental properties keep drugs and other illegal activity's off their property. The program is called Crime Free Multi-Housing (CFMH) and it's a proven crime prevention program specifically designed for rental properties to reduce crime.
Why Crime Free?
When Criminals and destructive tenants operate out of rental property, neighborhoods suffer and landlords face serious consequences, including:
Crime Free Multi-Housing is successful because it approaches crime on many fronts. The police cannot solve crime problems alone and neither can the management or residents of rental properties. When we work together the end result is the most successful approach to crimes in rental communities. To participate, rental properties must attend a free, 3-Phase process that includes: 1) An eight hour property management seminar. 2) A security assessment of the property. 3) A tenant safety social wherein the property receives full certification.

*The Crime Free Multi-Housing program is an international program that began in Mesa,AZ in 1992. Currently the program is in 44 states, five Canadian provinces, Mexico, England, Finland, Japan, Russia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Afghanistan, and Puerto Rico. The Pomona Police Department awarded it’s first property certification in March of 2010.
