Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House planned at1028 N. San Antonio Avenue 

 

Pomona, CA (January 18, 2011)   The City of Pomona has utilized federal funds provided by the Department Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) to purchase and rehabilitate abandoned, foreclosed and vacant properties in Pomona.  The City in partnership with Mayans Development has completed the rehabilitation of the last of the NSP rental housing developments.

 

To celebrate this success, The City of Pomona will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm at1028 North San Antonio Avenue,Pomona.

   

The goal of the NSP is to remove blight and stabilize residential neighborhoods suffering the effects of the foreclosure crisis.  The substantial rehabilitation of two two-bedroom and one one-bedroom units was completed in late December, 2011.  The units were equipped with energy efficiency improvements, new appliances, flooring, paint, roof, exterior improvements and landscaping.  The units are currently available for rent to income qualified very low income households.  For income requirements and rental information please call WSR Sales and Management at (951)320-6609.
