Voter Registration Information

Your Vote Really Counts!
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the Registrar-Recorder /County Clerk (RR/CC) and the Pomona City Clerk's Office urge you to exercise your right to vote!


Requirements for Registering to Vote
You may register to vote if you are:

          1. Currently a United States Citizen;
          2. Will be at least 18 years of age at the time of the next election;
          3. Not in prison or on parole for a felony violation;

The registration deadline is 15 days before an election to qualify to vote in that election.


If you have permanently moved to a different address, changed your name, or wish to change your political party affiliation, the deadline to re-register is 15 days before the next election.


How & Where to Register
You may register by completing a registration-by-mail form. Forms are available throughout Los Angeles at most county buildings, fire stations, libraries, banks, post offices, State Motor Vehicle Office and Public Assistance Offices (DPSS).


Pomona's City Clerk's Office, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, (505 S. Garey Ave.) also has these forms available. You can also pick up an application for an absentee ballot and/or identify the location of your polling place. The Pomona City Clerk's Office can be reached at 909-620-2341.
