City of Pomona Elderly Nutrition Program For more information, call (909) 620-2324 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. NOTICE: Palomares and Washington Senior Centers have been closed until further notice in accordance with state and local mandates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to help meet the nutritional needs of Pomona’s seniors, Elderly Nutrition Program participants have transitioned to receive home-delivered meals. Although home-delivered meals are designed specifically for home-bound individuals, they are available to eligible seniors at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Home-delivered meals further the ability for seniors to remain safer at home. Home-delivered meals consist of one meal per day. Availability is contingent on program capacity and the availability of funding. This program is funded through a grant from Los Angeles County with additional funding being provided by the City of Pomona and recently through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

Community Services Can I still visit City Parks during the COVID-19 pandemic? Yes, but some amenities are closed until further notice. Parks in the City of Pomona remain open, but keeping our community's public health and safety in mind, the City is closing the playgrounds, the skate and dog Park, park restrooms, and all sports courts. Please remember to practice social distancing at all times by maintaining at least a 6 feet distance between you/your family and other visitors at all times. Pomona Police Department/ Public Safety Will I receive a ticket if i don't move my car on street sweeping day? No, relaxed enforcement on street sweeping has been extending until January 31, 2021. Parking Enforcement will continue with regard to issues that prioritize health, safety, and emergency access — including colored curbs, peak-hour restrictions, etc. We will also continue enforcement at metered spaces to ensure parking turnover for businesses and restaurants relying on take-out and deliveries.
Utility Services Will I receive a final notice before disconnection and could my Water be shut off? The City has suspended issuance of final notices for non-payment until further notice. The City has temporarily suspended customer shutoff for delinquent accounts and/or nonpayment. We will continue to work with individual customers and those facing financial hardships to establish payment arrangements and provide services. Please make a payment using one of the previous listed options or call Customer Service at (909) 620-2241 to set up a payment arrangement during office hours; Monday – Thursday, 7:30am through 6:00pm.
