
Paula Lantz was elected to the Pomona City Council in April of 1991. A life-long resident of Pomona, Ms. Lantz graduated from Pomona High School, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Pomona College and a Masters of Arts degree in Education from Claremont Graduate School.
She is a credentialed teacher and has taught in Pomona schools. As a registered Social Worker, she worked at Hillview Acres Children’s Home in Chino, where she was Foster-Care Coordinator, as well as a foster parent for many years.
Councilwoman Paula Lantz is past President of both the Inland Valley Economic Development Corporation and the Pomona-Walnut-Rowland Joint Water Line
Commission.
She currently serves as Chair for Tri-City Mental Health, and a member on the Executive Board of Foothill Transit.
Councilwoman Paula Lantz is married and the mother of four children.
