The City of Pomona Passport Office is located in the City Clerk’s Department in City Hall. Hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Please call (909) 620-2341 to schedule an appointment.
All passport applicants, who are not eligible to apply by mail, must appear in person to apply for a passport.
As a Passport Acceptance Facility, we are able to assist you with submitting your application to the Department of State. The average time to receive a passport is 6 to 8 weeks. If you need the passport within 2-3 weeks, an additional expedite fee of $60 is required. For those needing the passport within 2 weeks, make an appointment at the Los Angeles Regional Passport Office by calling (877) 487-2778.
Children 15 and under must have both parents appear or the appearing parent must have a signed notarized consent form (DS-3053) from the non-appearing parent.
An Adult Passport Book is $110 (age 16 and over), and a Child Passport Book is $80 (age 15 and under) payable by check or money order only to the order of the U.S. Department of State. A $25 acceptance fee (payable in cash, check or money order) is also required and is payable to the City of Pomona. Passport photos are available on site for $12.
Applicants must provide an original Certified Birth Certificate (abstract certificates or copies are not acceptable), Certificate of Naturalization, OR previous U.S. Passport along with a valid drivers license or state-issued I.D. card.
