Disability Insurance

The City provides eligible employees with a short and long-term disability insurance policy at no cost to benefits eligible employees. The benefits begin after a 60-day elimination period and when the employee has exhausted all available accrued leave. The benefit level is based on your bargaining unit as follows:

 

General Services

Plan pays 66 2/3% of employees base salary

Mid Mgmt/Conf

Plan pays 66 2/3% of employees base salary

Police Sworn (PPOA)

None

Police Mgmt (PPMA)

Plan pays 66 2/3% of employees base salary

Executive Mgmt

Plan pays 66 2/3% of employees base salary
