The City of Pomona's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is currently administered through Community Action EAP. This program provides confidential professional assistance to help employees and their families resolve problems that affect their personal lives or job performance. This program is confidential and voluntary. It is designed to allow the employee or family to seek help on their own. Counselors are available to assist with such issues as:

• alcohol and drug problems
• stress related problems
• emotional problems
• marital or family problems
• children and adolescent problems
• coping with separation and divorce
• the loss of loved ones
• eating disorders
• money problems
• work related problems
