The Friends of the Pomona Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization which supports the Library's programs and services. 


A number of Library programs include:

 

  • Grandparents and Books - Seniors reading to children and children reading to them in the Children's Room
  • Children's Summer Reading Program
  • Teen Summer Reading Program
  • Book Talk discussion group
  • Trivia Bee for Literacy Program
  • Lobby ("Book Nook") Sales
  • Monthly book sales
  • Bridge and Games earns money to support Library programs
  • Fundraising projects


Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month, except July and August, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Library Conference Room.

The Membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. Membership is open all year.

Individual Lifetime Membership = $100.00
Annual Dues:

  • Individual Dues = $10.00 
  • Couples = $20.00
  • Contributing Membership = $20.00 
  • Patron Membership = $50.00 
  • Organizations, Business, Merchant = $75.00
