City of Pomona Resident Alert System    

The City of Pomona is now utilizing  for important Disaster, Public Safety, and other City Department Updates. Receive automatic updates to your email account and/or cell phone.

We urge all of the City Residents to visit www.twitter.com and signup for these important City of Pomona communications. The signup is easy. Here’s what to do;

1. Visit http://www.twitter.com
2. Click on the “Signup Now” button.
3. Type in the information required.
   

   Remember to write down your “Twitter” username and password

4. Click “Create my Account”.
5. Once your “Twitter” account has been created, search for PomonaCAgov and click the “follow” button.

You will now automatically receive all of the messages (tweets) that the City sends to the people that “follow” pomonacagov. There will be a link on the City’s website that will give a detailed description and instructions on “Twitter” and how the City plans to utilize it as well as a twitter.com link that connects to the Twitter website.
