Armstrong's:
Fine art ceramics galleries are hard to find. Armstrong's provides a large selection of fine art ceramics. Many of the artists we represent have been featured in Ceramics Monthly magazine and are sought after for workshops all over the United States. We have assembled wood fired, salt fired, oxidation fired, primitive fired, raku fired and once fired vessels and sculptures. Available to you are lugged vessels, chargers, platters, bowls, pitchers, mugs, cups, tea bowls, tea pots, vase forms and plates. You can find sculptural vessels, non objective sculptures, abstracted sculptures, trompe l'oiel sculptures, monumental porcelain sculptures (Sunkoo Yuh) woodfired sculptures (Don Reitz), sculpture fired with sticks (Bennett Bean), and soda fired sculptures (Paul Soldner). |

Certified Framer Susie Eaton, with over 20 years experience in the industry and Artist Juan Thorp are the owners of Bunny Gunner. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10-7 and until 9pm on the second Saturday and the last Saturday of every month, which is our artwalk and closing reception. Pomona Valley Art Association:
A group of painters meeting in Washington Park, Pomona, held their first exhibition in the Pomona City Library in 1948. This enthusiastic art club became the POMONA VALLEY ART ASSOCIATION in 1952. Its constitution and by-laws were adopted in January of that year. A move to the Pomona Mall in 1960 was the first of many homes for the Association. |

This organization has remained diligent to the promise it made the community when moving into the Founder’s Building in the downtown Pomona Arts Colony: To serve and lead multi-cultural audiences and communitites in educational dialogue by providing an environment for artists to present innovative work with contemporary issues. The gallery strives to provide artist members contact with peers through discussions with visiting artists, curators, jurors and critics. The Pomona College Museum of Art:
The fine art collections of Pomona College are housed in the Pomona College Museum of Art, at the Montgomery Art Center, which was inaugurated in 1958 and named for the late Gladys K. Montgomery, Pomona trustee and Los Angeles civic leader. Among important holdings are the Kress Collection of 15th- and 16th-century Italian panel paintings; over 5,000 examples of Pre-Columbian to 20th-century American Indian art and artifacts, including basketry, ceramics, and beadwork; and a large collection of American and European prints, drawings, and photographs. In addition to serving as the basis for exhibitions, the collections, which are always available for individual study and research, are frequently used for classes. |
